Mass Production of High-Voltage ECH Begins A New Step Toward Sustainable Innovation and Growth in the Chinese Electric Vehicle Market
March 28th marked an important milestone for Tianjin Sanden Automotive Air Conditioning Co.,Ltd (TSA) as production of high-voltage (800V) Electric Coolant Heaters (ECH) began, and the first unit was delivered to one of China's leading luxury electric vehicle manufacturers. The collaboration between Japan and China in developing innovative technologies and rapidly realizing products and services exemplifies the spirit of "One Team, One SANDEN."
In the development of the high-voltage ECH, expert teams from Japan and China leveraged their in-depth knowledge and advanced technologies to address challenges such as electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH), as well as coolin water leakage. They successfully developed 800V high-voltage technology. Additionally, we responded swiftly to customer requests for design changes, completed production line modifications in just six months, and achieved the goal of starting mass production on schedule, just one and a half years after receiving the order. Furthermore, we have enhanced our image processing capabilities and automation to improve product quality and increase production efficiency.

On this memorable occasion, TSA held a ceremony during which the current TSA President, Mr.Wang Guozhuang, delivered the following remarks: "Thanks to the efforts of the Japanese headquarters and everyone involved, this event was a great success. TSA is immensely proud of the outcomes achieved. We are committed to maintaining close cooperation, facing challenges together, and continuing to create new achievements. Deepening the trust of our customers remains our unwavering goal. With quality as our top priority, let us strive to continually improve the level of our products and services." Mr. Wang delivered these enthusiastic words to the attendees, energizing the team for future endeavors.

Then, Mr Lu Xinlin, Chief Engineer of TSA, praised and thanked the ECH project team. Mr.Masatsugu Watanabe from the R&D Center discussed the importance of joint R&D between China and Japan and the future development strategy. Subsequently, Mr. Zhao Honghan, a key member of the ECH project team, Mr. Li Pingxi, the project management leader, Mr. Shi Yiqi, the ECH development manager, Mr. Hu Changlin, the manager of the production technology department,Mr. Tao Jiajun and Mr. Chen Tonglai, both ECH production line managers, took the stage one by one to share their thoughts and feelings. After all the speeches, a commemorative photo was taken, and all the project team members signed the ECH certificate to celebrate the great success of the project once again.
